‘P removal’ dosing – with flow measurement

Accurate, measured, fully controllable dosing down to 10ml/hr with the Smart DDA dose pump with Flow Control and Measurement function; ideal for P removal, hypochlorite & plumbosolvency. Allows a simpler, more cost effective dose skid to be constructed. Less service and maintenance required than peristaltic pumps and uses less power. Specified by a number of UK Utilities already as it provides reassurance and performance with good value.

Energy and Leakage reduction (Demand Driven Distribution)

Varying the pressure from pumping stations allows energy to be saved and leakage to be reduced whilst still meeting customer obligations on pressure. Energy savings are of the order of 20% typically, with bursts and leakage reductions depending on network conditions.

The same technology can also be used to manage transfer of water to Service reservoirs allowing a more controlled transfer of water over time. You retain full control of the system via your telemetry using pump controllers already well established and known in DCWW.

Off-site design and build

Reduce overall procurement and site costs and reduce your risks by using more factory built off-site packages.

Grundfos supply basic washwater and DG2 booster sets - and go up to £500,000 packages with Form 4 panels and integrating with existing framework contractors.

The factory designers are keen to have early involvement, especially on complex schemes.
